Game Review: Super Smash Bros. for 3DS

9/10
This game is totally worth it to buy but it has one problem that keeps it a 9/10. First lets start with the good. The game first has so many game modes. First you can play classic and all star mode like all the other games but there is also a new mode called Smash Run. In this mode you explore a dungeon like environment beating enemies, collecting stat boosts and finding treasure. but there is a catch, you only have 5 minutes to explore. At the end of the 5 minutes you do a short mini game with the boosted characters. Also in this game you can create your own Mii fighter with customized move sets and stats. You can also give your Mii hats and clothes. The only bad thing about the game is there there is no story mode. In the last smash bros. game, Brawl, the was a really good story mode called the subspace emissary. If it had story mode it would be a much better game and I would play it more often. It is a awesome game but if it had story mode it would be a lot better.

  1. The 3DS can't handle a story mode on the scale of Brawl's subspace emmisary. Most 3DS games already have trouble running pre-loaded FMVs (only games I can think of being KH Dream Drop Distance and the Bravely Duology) so having a whole mode full of them would not be good for both file sizes and load times. (Which were already horrendous for smash 4, though it is a series staple since at least Brawl) At least we got world of Light in Ultimate, so that's cool. Also, Cloud Strife, Bayonetta, Ryu, Ken, King K Rool, Inkling from Splatoon, Ridley, a fire-type Pokemon from Gen 7, the main character from from Persona 5, the main character of Dragon Quest 11, Banjo and Kazzoie, the main character of fire emblem for NX, a character of a new IP releasing in 2017, Steve from Minecraft, and Sephiroth will all be added to smash by the end of 2020. The NX will be called the Nintendo Switch and will be a handheld/console hybrid. All Wii U games will be ported to Switch/NX so don't bother getting a Wii U or any games for it. The next smash bros game will be called Smash Bros Ultimate abd will feature every character across the series and 14 DLC fighters. The next fire emblem game will be a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden and then after that a game called Fire Emblem Three Houses which will features 3 routes, holy blood, an amazing story but mediocre gameplay, free class-changing, a timeskip, will have no child characters, and will take place in a new world called Fodlan where Holy Blood plays a major role in society. Zelda NX will be called Zelda Breath of the Wild and will be fully open world with the largest map of any open-world game. It will also be completely non-linier and have excellent gameplay and puzzles. Dungeons will be heavily toned-down and put less of a focus on. Metroid II will get a remake in 2017, the next Pokemon Reigon will be based on Hawaii and the Reigon after that will be based on the UK, all Nintendo Moible games will fail except for Fire Emblem Heroes, which will be outstanding, Donald Trump will be elected president in 2016 and will be terrible. He will not be re-ekected and Joe Biden would win the presidency in 2020. A global pandemic will occur from March 2020 to March 2021 and all schools will go virtual and 20K people will die. The disease only affects those with health conditions or are old.
